Nací en Madrid, España, en 1979. Llevo dedicados 20 años al mundo de la iluminación cinematográfica.
Una vez licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual en la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, empecé a trabajar enseguida como técnico de iluminación. Mi formación en este departamento es continua; nunca dejas de aprender. Comencé en un almacén de iluminación y poco a poco fui escalando puestos hasta hoy en día, que soy Gaffer.
Siempre me he movido en el mundo del rodaje publicitario, un sector exigente y competitivo, pero muy apasionante.
A nivel personal, adoro este trabajo. Me fascina la luz y todo lo que se puede hacer con ella, conseguir que haga lo que uno quiere, narrar con la luz. Por eso es muy importante una buena relación con el Director de Fotografía (Cinematographer), comprender lo que busca, entender su pasión y poder traducirla a nivel técnico. Siempre en constante evolución y buscando nuevos retos.
Por eso desde hace más de 5 años también soy Profesor de Iluminación y me encanta poder compartir con mis alumnos todo lo que he aprendido a lo largo de estos años.

I was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1979. I have been dedicated 20 years to the world lighting cinematography.
Once I was graduated in Audiovisual Communication (Francisco de Vitoria University), I immediately started working as a Lighting Technician. My training in this department is continuous; you never stop learning. I started in a warehouse and, little by little, I have been climbing positions until nowadays, I got to be a gaffer.
I have always moved in the world of advertising shooting, a demanding and competitive sector, but very exciting.
On a personal level, I love this job. I love the light and everything that can be done with it; narrate with light. That is why it is very important to have a good relationship with the Cinematographer (DP), understand what he is looking for, understand his passion and be able to translate it at a technical level. Always in constant evolution and looking for new challenges.
That's why, for more than 5 years, I've also been a Lighting Professor, I love being able to share with my students everything I've learned over these years.
